All in Hope

Through the Storm

He has felt our pain. He weeps with us. If we allow him, He can ease our burden. When we are weak, he can strengthen us. When we are broken, He can mend us. When we are sick, He can heal us. When we are half, He can make us whole. When there is a storm, He promises calm, so how can we doubt?

Changing Our Tomorrows

This New Year, let us allow change to propel us forward, closer to Jesus Christ. It is because of Him that we have hope for a better tomorrow. It is because of Him that we can change our tomorrows by our choices today. Let us strive to live closer to Jesus Christ, let us change to be more like Him. And remember, tomorrow is always fresh.

The Messianic Babe

As morning dawned, not only did the SUN arise and fill the world with light, but the SON also arose, bringing a more permanent and personal light into the world. His light reaches shadows we think of as too dark to see. His light warms our soul where there is coldness. His light carries the hope of better things to come. His light never ends and is always there for us.

Ours is to Love

It's easy to only see the negative to situations we don't actually know about.  We are told not to judge.  There's the age old adage about walking a mile in someone else's shoes.  As children of God and as brothers and sisters in Christ, shouldn't we be loving each other?  We have all failed, fallen and tried to get up and start anew.  Should we be surprised that our friends, family and ward members are doing the same?

Choosing Gratitude

I don't think it's always easy for us to choose happiness, but I DO think that we can try just a little harder to be just a little better about choosing to look for the good. It's out there. Heavenly Father wants us to be happy, and His gifts are in abundance. Especially this Christmas season, I challenge all of us to look at our lives with a softer lens and remember to choose gratitude, choose happiness, and choose love.

Like Sariah

It is much easier to have faith when things are going mostly as planned.  A hiccup here and there doesn’t derail us too much. We keep going. But what happens when you have a trial that very literally knocks the wind out of you?
