We are a group of Latter-Day Saint women sharing reflections, answering questions and clarifying our understanding of doctrinal teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are not an official site of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and all content on this site represent our personal viewpoints rather than official church doctrine.

I love that the Lord lets us give our best effort, and then magnifies and expands the results.
Don’t despair when you feel yourself doubting. There’s no need to fear. You have the power to change your doubts into questions by seeking answers from the One who is the source of all truth.
It’s ok to be sad and hopeful and faithful all at the same time. There is nothing wrong with you.
Often, Heavenly Father directs us to do something that is hard and may not make sense at first. But, if we will trust Him, we will be able to look back one day and see how His plan made a positive change in our life.
We’re not alone. Storms can bring the peace of feeling close to our Savior. They can help us to come to know His true character. And maybe, as we come to see the growth and purpose in them, they can even be enjoyed.

Heavenly Father speaks to us through the Holy Ghost. His voice is soft and gentle. It is not preceded by megaphones and handwritten posters. You will not see His message in a news ticker at the bottom of your TV screen. How the Holy Ghost speaks to us is individual for everyone. So, it is up to us to figure out just how we hear the Holy Ghost.
Having spiritual grit is critical in today’s world. It is our choice whether or not we remain true to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The actions we take each day will either bring us closer to Jesus Christ or further from Him.
We’ve all said and done things that are hurtful-intentional or not. We can repent. We can ask God to help us humble ourselves and ask for forgiveness. I’ve discovered that the sooner I ask, the easier it is. However, even if it’s a long time coming, it is better late than never.
The experiences of this life are for our benefit and learning. They were never meant to be easy. I am grateful to know that in a future day I will rest from earthly cares and be reunited with those I miss.
The worth that God has assigned to us is a constant. It cannot ever change, because God is an unchangeable Being.
