Sariah Hilt grew up in the Central Valley of California, surrounded by the vast farmland and roadside stands of fresh produce. She graduated from BYU with a BS in Psychology, and uses her knowledge to work in Customer Service with online companies. She now lives in Monument, Colorado with her husband and 2 boys. Sariah loves to cook and trying new recipes. She also loves enjoying the four season outdoor playground that is Colorado.
There is no way to avoid trials and difficult circumstances in life. The problem begins to arise when we are constantly thinking and remembering negative experiences, while ignoring and missing out on the good happening around us. The joy we could experience in this life can be clouded and hidden by our mind refusing to let go of the darkness it’s seen.
I believe that that a loving Heavenly Father created this beautiful world for us, his spirit sons and daughters. I believe he will send his spirit to help us when we ask, but we also need to do our part and follow the commandments he has given us.
Jesus Christ himself was baptized. We show we are obedient to him and the commandments he gave us by following in Jesus’s footsteps and being baptized as well.
